Bordeaux exceptional color quality and reliability is guaranteed when used correctly with the recommended qualified media. Improper handling, care and storage may cause damage for which Bordeaux is not held responsible. Under Bordeaux specified instructions, all inks can be used with absolute confidence as a replacement for OEM ink. Bordeaux cannot be held responsible if its products are not used according to the Terms of Use, which includes the manufacturers' specification for proper machine care
and usage.
Bordeaux emphasizes that ink durability depends on environmental conditions, which can vary from one location to the next. Bordeaux does not take responsibility for prints that are not stored under ideal weather conditions for each zone.
Warranty
Products manufactured and distributed by Bordeaux Digital PrintInk are covered to the extent of the original manufacturer's warranty. Bordeaux products found to be defective will be replaced upon inquiry and return. Our liability is limited to product replacement only, although we will do our best to rectify the situation. Bordeaux will not be liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of any of our products. Under no circumstances will Bordeaux be liable for defects caused by accidents, misuse, abuse, tampering, improper storage or out of date product.
Storage
Bordeaux inks have supreme consistency and thus enjoy a 12-month shelf life from the date of manufacture when cared for according to the best practices listed below:
Seal bottle when not in use
Store in cool dry place, away from direct sunlight
Avoid freezing
Optimum storage temperature 5°C (51°F) - 30°C (86°F)
Handling
Most of Bordeaux's inks are non-toxic so handling is hassle-free.
In the case of solvent-based ink for Nur'sŇ BlueboardÔ, Bordeaux acts in full regulatory compliance with the FAA and DOT standards and handles the inks with the necessary HAZMAT requirements.
Bordeaux recommends the following:
Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing
Do not ingest or inhale
After use, wash hands with soap and water
Prolonged skin exposure is not advised
